About
Naomi Schwartz is an Associate Professor at UBC in the Department of Geography. Her research focuses on the relationships between climate, disturbance, and vegetation and how human activities influence tropical biomes. She uses remote sensing and other geospatial approaches to study ecosystems from landscape to regional scales. Naomi leads Schwartz Geospatial Ecology Lab.
